Through the Discovery and Innovation Awards program, the Office of the Vice President for Research honors: achievement of national recognition for research and scholarship; dissemination of research to broad public audiences; advancement of research safety; administration and coordination of complex research programs; and mentorship of the next generation of researchers, scholars, and artists.
