Registration is still open for the Partnering for Growth Biotech Innovation Showcase & Forum March 20-21 in Ankeny, an event co-sponsored by the University of Iowa Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development (OVPR&ED).

The event will be held in the FFA Enrichment Center, 1055 SW Prairie Trail Parkway, in Ankeny. Registration is free for students, $125 for members of the Iowa Biotech Association (the event sponsor), and $150 for non-members.

The day and a half-long event will bring together innovators, investors and biotech leaders, and is intended as an opportunity for learning, investing and networking with various sectors of the biotech industry. Start-up presentations will be focused around the development of biofuels and biomaterials; advances in food, ag and plant genetics; progress in animal health; as well as human health and medical technology.
