On October 20, the Research Services Fair will return as an in-person networking event at Hancher Auditorium.
The event brings together experts from more than 55 units to share information about resources for the University of Iowa research and scholarly community.
Vendor-style tables will host campus experts in cutting-edge instrumentation, technology services, grant applications, editing, human subjects recruitment, patents and licensing, as well as representatives from various research centers and institutes.
The fair is hosted once annually by the Research Development Office, a unit of the Office of the Vice President for Research. “Our goal is to connect researchers and scholars at all levels with resources that can help support their research projects, leading to new collaborations, stronger grant applications, and cost-saving measures," said Aaron Kline, director of the Research Development Office. “We’re really looking forward to returning to an in-person event this year, with ample space to network with new colleagues.”
All University of Iowa faculty, research support staff, postdocs, and students are welcome to stop by anytime between 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at Hancher, 141 Park Road, Iowa City.
Free parking is available in LOT 55. Hors d’oeuvres and drink will be available throughout the event. Registration is required.
